This mod is intended for the original character and should not be used with skins. The hair and body can be used as separate mods. Since the original character and the skin share the same IB, installing the hair mod will also change the skin's hairstyle.
The set includes a "Remove Hair Shadow" file—just extract it and place it into the MODS folder to hide those annoying hair shadows. RabbitFX has also shared their version.
