Ubisoft cancels Tom Clancy's The Division Heartland

Ubisoft has announced the cancellation of the free-to-play PvEvP shooter Tom Clancy's The Division Heartland. This happened three years after the announcement of the long-suffering game.

Heartland was to become a multiplayer shooter with battles on large open maps designed for 45 people. The project was developed by Red Storm Entertainment using the Snowdrop engine for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game was planned for release in 2024.

Recall that Ubisoft recently fully introduced Assassin's Creed: Shadows, revealing the release date and showing the debut trailer, the first screenshots, and the collector's edition. The company also announced the release date of XDefiant, a free-to-play PvP shooter in the spirit of the Call of Duty series.
