Developers from the Pearl Abyss studio shared new information about Crimson Desert, an ambitious open-world RPG. The project will be quite long and will have a multiplayer mode like in GTA Online.
As it became known from a recent meeting with investors (according to a financial blogger), the developers of Crimson Desert drew inspiration from games such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Assassin's Creed, The Legend of Zelda and Red Dead Redemption 2. In addition, the plot will be comparable to the story in Ghost of Tsushima. The gameplay is expected to take 50-80 hours, and there will be only one ending.

Pearl Abyss also plans to announce the release date of its project this year. They intend to make an announcement after the G-Star 2024 exhibition in Korea, which will be held in November. The studio confirmed that the release of Crimson Desert will take place in 2025.
