Minecraft Returns to the Fantasy Setting of Dungeons & Dragons with Illithids, Owlbears, and More

Minecraft has launched a fresh expansion titled Dungeons & Dragons: A New Quest, developed by Everbloom Games and Wizards of the Coast in collaboration with Mojang Studios. This DLC allows gamers to dive into the universe of Dungeons & Dragons.

"Embark on a journey to a new world and unleash your imagination in an unfamiliar environment. With so much to discover, the possibilities are virtually endless," reads the description.

The expansion continues the storyline of the previous add-on, but it is not required to start A New Quest. In the story, the hero must find a soul that was abducted by evil forces.

Throughout the adventure, gamers will explore the Icewind Dale, battle demonic entities, and encounter creatures from the D&D universe, including illithids, owlbears, and more. Players can choose from four character classes.

The expansion is unavailable for the Java version (only for Bedrock).
