Pioner Gets First Major Patch
Russian studio GFA Games has released the first major update, version EA.0.0.2, for their post-apocalyptic MMO-shooter Pioner, which launched into Early Access on December 17th.
The update addresses issues blocking completion of raid missions and side quests, increases the maximum player count in zones, opens a server for players from South America, restores access to pre-order and deluxe edition bonuses, and expands options for build customization. Additionally, the patch fixes a bug with text chat connection, a bug with the raid completion window, a "fake" item loss bug, and errors in the "Bitten Business," "Get Kornei's Pistol," and "Wait for Addressee" quests.
This initial update also introduces two tutorial windows for the mailbox and wardrobe, refines navigation in the Reliquary, and improves player progress synchronization with the server.
According to the developers, Pioner is expected to remain in Early Access for approximately one year. In the future, the game will also launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. We previously covered how the game was received on Steam.
