In Baldur's Gate 3, you can find a locked gilded chest located in the Owlbear Cave. It cannot be opened with a key. Instead, the player must decipher the secret and open it using a not-so-obvious method. Let's figure out how to open it.
The cave can be found to the west of Druid's Grove. Here, as the name suggests, players will find an Owlbear. If you jump off the rocks into the center of the water body, you can discover the area where the gilded chest is located.
The gilded chest has a unique locking mechanism controlled by a nearby item. Players must first walk around the chest and jump to the nearest statue. Behind this statue, the group can find a note with a prayer (Selunite Prayer Sheet). Players may need to bring all four group members if the leader does not see the sheet immediately.
Once the prayer sheet is found, return to the chest. While next to it, players must open their inventory and read the prayer sheet. This should disarm the traps and open the chest. If opening the chest with Shadowheart in the group, the player will need to perform a skill check for Insight, Intimidation, or Persuasion. Otherwise, you can simply open the chest and take its contents.
