The Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion will offer you a completely new experience working as a special government agent. As the story progresses, V will have to choose what he believes is right and honest. The DLC has four endings in total, and a fifth one allows you to finish the entire game. This guide will detail how to get each of them.
Note: This guide is full of spoilers. Read at your own risk!
In reality, there are only two moments in the game where the story's ending is determined. The first awaits you in the «Judgment Day» mission when V and Alex pretend to be French twins and talk to the colonel. When Soika comes, V will go with her to the laboratory to extract the matrix. This is where you should save if you want to explore all the endings. Before the quest, Reed will give V an icebreaker, which will help neutralize Soika. In the laboratory, you will have a choice — to upload it or escape with the hacker.
Here you will choose the last missions, but this is not the end. Before the final, there will be another opportunity to side with Reed or Soika, regardless of the decision in the laboratory. Thanks to autosaves, it will be easy to see all the endings and choose the one you specifically like.
In the laboratory, when given a choice, tell Soika I'm with you and do not upload the icebreaker. Alex will kill the colonel, and you, along with the hacker, will make your way through the stadium and hordes of enemies.
Eventually, Soika will ask for help to get to the Moon via the spaceport. As we've already written in the walkthrough, you must complete the fixer's quest «Interstice» to determine who will rule Dogtown. Only after this will Reed call with threats, and Soika will provide information about the meeting.
Complete the quest Dying Star until the moment when you sit with Soika on the train to the shuttle. There you will learn the last plot twist, which will help make the final decision. Being near the shuttle, you will meet Reed. Immediately put Soika on the ground, and then behave non-aggressively, but in no case choose the answers related to handing the girl over to the spy.
Eventually, all the lines will boil down to two options — hand the hacker over to the authorities or still put her on a rocket to the Moon. To get the «King of Wands» ending, do not agree with Reed. Time will slow down, and you'll need to quickly aim and shoot the spy. In this ending, Reed dies, the medicine remains with Soika, and Alex survives. Later, Alex will call you, and you will also receive a message from the hacker hinting that the treatment was successful.
In this ending, you also support Soika in the laboratory, but on the train to the spaceport, change your mind and side with Reed. Call him right from the carriage or carry the girl in your arms and meet the spy near the shuttle.
Agree to hand Soika over to Reed, but decide what to do with the medicine. If you take it — you can unlock a completely new ending for the entire game. Or you can refuse the medicine and finish the expansion as it is.
This ending is not standalone and directly depends on the ending «King of Swords» or «King of Pentacles». Hand Soika over to Reed and take the medicine for yourself. The spy will promise to contact V after some time. In-game, this is about 10-15 days.
Meet the man at the gas station or sports ground and agree on where the doctors' shuttle will pick you up. This way, you can carve out a significant chunk of the main game's storyline and immediately reach the point of no return. Johnny will be displeased, as he suddenly changes his mind about dying. The rocker will ask not to call Reed. This is your last chance to change your mind. If you insist on proceeding, V will undergo surgery, but the story's ending will be far from happy.
In the laboratory, try to upload the icebreaker into Soika. It won't work and will cause the girl to have a cyberpsychosis attack. The colonel will personally kill Alex, after which V will have to make his way through the stadium alone. At the end of the path, you can forget to take the equipment from the locker, as no one will remind you. After that, you'll have to personally fight Kurt.
After dealing with the soldiers, you need to follow Reed and watch as Soika is captured by the police special forces. Next, you'll have to devise a plan to stop the convoy with the prisoner. Everything will go awry, and Soika will escape. V will chase her alone and end up in an abandoned laboratory. There, the Black Wall constructs will gradually take control over the hacker. She will hinder V's progress in every possible way, then activate an unbeatable spider robot. You'll have to hide, and the gameplay will closely resemble the game about the alien — Alien: Isolation.
As a result of such hiding, V will find a huge core in which Soika hides. What follows is a long phase to open it. In this ending, you will see more events from Soika's past. When the way is clear, V finds the girl half-dead but conscious. She will ask to be killed, and this is the second time you'll have to make a choice between Soika and Reed. In this ending, you need to fulfill the netrunner's request.
In such a case, Reed will blame V, and the president will refuse to help with the treatment.
This ending almost entirely mirrors the «King of Cups» finale, with the difference being that V refuses to kill Soika. Reed approves of this and believes that the girl will definitely be helped now. President Myers will also approve of your actions. She will not only offer help with treatment but also award V a medal (which can be declined). From this ending, you can transition to the game's final «Tower» ending if you also agree to the operation to remove the chip.
