Where to find skill and ability chips in Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 has a rather flexible leveling system, but due to the limited maximum level (50th), you will not be able to fully max out your character. In Night City, there are special chips that add either an additional ability point or a skill point for leveling up, allowing you to enhance your character much faster than by standard methods. In this guide, we will tell you where to find ability chips and how to use them.

As soon as you find an ability chip on a corpse or in a box, do not rush to pick it up by pressing the F button (PC version). Press the R button (PC version), X (Xbox version), or square (PS4 version) and you will get two ability points instead of one.

Head to the Sunset Motel fast travel point in the Badlands.

Then follow the map to the billboard and kill the drone next to the car.

Pick up the chip from the corpse next to the car.

Head to the Rancho Coronado: East fast travel point in the eponymous area.

Then follow the NCPD activity Crime. Enter the barn, take the archive dialogue from the corpse, and read it.

You will activate the quest Crime: Welcome to Night City. Follow this quest to the garage on Manzanita Street and kill all the enemies.

Take the chip from the box.

Head to the Metro: Republic Avenue fast travel point in the Corporate Plaza.

Next, walk a few meters to the indicated point. Climb onto the electrical building.

Pick up the chip from the dead body.

Head to the Ventura Street and Skyline fast travel point in The Glen.

Then follow the NCPD activity Assault.

Defeat the enemies and take the chip from the box.

Head to the Rancho Coronado: South fast travel point in the eponymous district.

Proceed to the closed Arasaka area. You can climb over the fence using double jump (this ability can be purchased from Rippers).

If you don't have double jump, you can sneak into the closed area through the construction site.

You can pick up the first chip from the table by sneaking past the guards.

You can find the second chip in a small building near the warehouse.

The box with the chip is on the floor next to the stairs.

Defeat the enemies and pick up the chip from the corpse.

Head to the fast travel point Metro: Japan Town (South) in Japan Town.

Then follow the NCPD activity Assault.

Defeat the enemies, then pick up the chip from the dead driver and the corpse in the trunk.

Head to the fast travel point All Foods Plant in Northside.

Move along the highway to the north, to the location indicated on the map. Here, at the intersection, you will see a garage. Enter it and shoot three drones.

Go to the end of the garage and take the chip.

Head to the fast travel point Rocky Ridge in the Badlands.

Then follow the NCPD activity Assault.

Defeat the enemies and take the chip from the box next to the corpses.

Head to the fast travel point Roundabout at Corporation Square.

Then follow the NCPD activity Assault.

Defeat the enemies and pick up the chip from the corpse.

Head to the fast travel point Tama Viewpoint at Rancho Coronado.

Then follow the NCPD activity Assault.

Defeat the enemies and take the chip from the box.

Head to the fast travel point Sunshine Motel in the Badlands.

Then follow the NCPD activity Assault.

Defeat the enemies and take the chip from the box next to the car.

Head to the fast travel point Edgewood Farm in the Badlands.

Then follow the NCPD activity Assault.

Defeat the enemies and take the chip from the box.

From the club, move towards the highway and go down to the oil rig.

Destroy the two turrets and climb to the top of the rig.

Defeat the enemies on the roof and take the chip from the box.

Head to the fast travel point Rocky Ridge in the Badlands.

Then follow the mission Cyberpsycho Sighting: House on a Hill.

Defeat the cyberpsycho and take the chip from their body. The second chip is on the body of a victim next to the house.
