Archon Quest Walkthrough in Genshin Impact: Act 3, Chapter 6. Caribert

In Genshin Impact, the major update 3.5 has begun, which includes the new storyline quest series Caribert. Today we will describe how to start the Archon quest, how to complete all the available quests in this chain, and what rewards you can receive.

How to Start the Archon Quests Caribert in Genshin Impact

To access the Archon Quests Caribert, you must first meet several mandatory conditions, which are described below:

  1. Reach Adventure Rank 35.
  2. Complete the Archon Quests Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises: Volume 3, Chapter 5.
  3. Finish the interlude quest chain Inversion of Being.

If all conditions are met, simply update the game and open the quest log (key J) or go to the events menu. In both cases, the Caribert quest should be available to you. If you open the events menu, click the To Quest button there.

Note: If the quest is unavailable, you can track the specific reason in the events menu. If the reason is not specified, try re-entering the game.

How to Complete the Quest Fateful Encounter

Head to Port Ormos and talk to Mr. Masrur, who received a letter with an unclear address. To do this, use the teleport closest to the market square and reach the pier.

After talking to the man, the main quest will begin. To continue, go to the Paimon menu and fast-forward the time to 16:00 the next day, but no later than 18:00.

Near the pier, there is a tavern where Kaeya will be waiting for you. Follow the marker and talk to the old friend. During the conversation, Dainsleif will appear. He will say that Kaeya is a descendant of the founder of the Abyss Order. The branch keeper will suggest meeting later in the Avidya Forest. For this, you can use the Dendro Archon statue.

Upon reaching the Gandha slope, watch the cutscene, after which you need to inspect the house. Enter and interact with the box, mortar, and bed.

Dainsleif will hear noise outside — it's a small group of slimes that you will have to deal with. After this, run to the campfire behind the house and use the abilities of any Pyro character to light it.

During the video, the traveler will fall asleep, and Dainsleif will go into the forest for reconnaissance. The quest will be completed, and you will receive the achievement Night of Wandering Stars.

Rewards:

  • Adventure EXP (625);
  • Mora (25,450);
  • Hero's Wit (2);
  • Mystic Enhancement Ore (4).

How to Complete the Quest Who is Allowed to Laugh at Fate

Note: From this point on, you cannot leave the outlined map boundaries until you complete the chain of story quests. Attempts to open the game map will also be unsuccessful. First, you need to complete all the quests to leave the special story mode and return to the open world of the game.

Upon waking up, run to the house and talk to the stern man. Follow him into the house and inspect the Hilichurl. The man's name is Eide, and the monster on his bed is his son Caribert. The first is under the curse of immortality, so he cannot die.

Return to the field and interact with Eide again. He will suggest making a healing potion to help Caribert. For this, the man will give two unusual mushrooms. The potion will also require a Twilight Rose and a Kalpalata Lotus. If you don't have extra plants, you can find them near the Dendro Archon statue.

Prepare the Forbidden Nameless Medicine of the Royal Court and give it to Eide. This will earn you the achievement Not Yet a Deadly Disease.

Now, move to the Statue of the Seven Archons in this area and watch the cutscene, after which you should return to Eide's house.

The medicine will not help Caribert, so the man will suggest making another potion. For this, you will need to collect water from the waterfall and grow unusual mushrooms. The waterfall is nearby. For quick travel, you can use the Four-Leaf Sigils.

Return to Eide and give him the bucket of water. At this moment, several Fungi will attack you — kill them.

After a while, two unusual mushrooms will appear in the beds — collect them and prepare the Nameless Medicine of the Royal Court. Give the potion to the man and return to the Dendro Archon statue again. During the conversation with Eide, you will notice a Hilichurl very similar to Caribert. The man will head towards it, and you will have to follow.

Rewards:

  • Adventure EXP (775);
  • Mora (31,175);
  • Hero's Wit (3);
  • Mystic Enhancement Ore (5).

How to Complete the Quest Cry at the Sunset of Fate

The monster will not be your new friend's son, but the two heroes will become interested in where it is heading. This will lead you to an unknown shrine.

After the cutscene, you will find yourself in an unusual dungeon. There will be few monsters here, but you will face a small puzzle. It is worth noting that all the Hilichurls you meet here are hostile.

Deal with two groups of Hilichurls and move forward to the gate. Inspect the common chest on the right and head to the passage on the opposite side.

Approach the crack in the wall with purple glowing — this is a portal. Using such portals, you will need to solve the puzzle.

After getting to the opposite side, watch the video, then fight several slimes. Inspect the common chest and enter the portal again.

Once in the large hall, get rid of the slimes and hilichurls, then take the seal (1/3) on the pedestal in the center of the room.

Run into the portal, after which the room will flip. Take another seal (2/3) here and interact with the device on the left side of the hall. One of the two grates on the opposite side will open.

Return to the portal and enter the teleport in the opened room. Here you can also inspect the luxurious chest. Take the last seal (3/3), after which the grate will open. Go to the center of the hall to place them in the image on the floor.

After a short video, you will face the Fate Herald. This is a fairly strong opponent, but defeating him even at low hero levels will be easy. Be sure to take Pyro and Electro characters in the squad. When the enemy's health level is critical, he will activate a shield, which is easiest to destroy with these two elements.

When the gates open, move forward and inspect another common chest. Reaching the large hall, watch the cutscene.

Soon you will return to Eide's house, where the man will decide to give his son the medicine again. This time the boy will regain consciousness and even recognize his father. The man will then decide to return to the unknown shrine. This will complete the quest, and you will receive the achievement On the Other Shore of Fate.

Rewards:

  • Adventure EXP (625);
  • Mora (25,450);
  • Hero's Wit (2);
  • Mystic Enhancement Ore (4).

How to Complete the Quest Fate's Predestination

Follow Eide to the unknown shrine. Along the way, you will encounter only two groups of slimes of different elements. Defeat them and enter the hall where the mysterious statue was recently located.

Returning back to the house, you will notice that Caribert has disappeared. Eide will also notice a broken mirror. Follow the markers to search for the boy, and when you find him, watch the lengthy cutscene.

This will complete the quest. You will also receive the achievement Caribert and other rewards.

Rewards:

  • Adventure EXP (775);
  • Mora (31,175);
  • Hero's Wit (3);
  • Mystic Enhancement Ore (5);
  • Teachings of Freedom (2);
  • Teachings of Resistance (2);
  • Teachings of Ballad (2).
