Open Your Heart to Me Quest: Find the Secret Cave in Ochkhanatlan in Genshin Impact

"Open Your Heart to Me" in Genshin Impact is a secret world quest in Natlan, related to exploring the ancient extinct city of Ochkhanatlan. To complete it, explore the mysterious cave and meet the statue of the dragon ruler Ishlel, helping her collect parts of her heart. In this guide, we'll explain how to reach the flooded cave, where to find all the keys and heart fragments.

To start the mission, you need to solve a series of puzzles that will open the path to the underground location "Where the Ancients Ruled". For this, you need to unlock the Ochkhanatlan region and find the entrance to the cave. Teleport to the south of Ochkhanatlan, to the point in the tower. Then go around the structure and head to the marked location on the map. At the edge, jump down and fly forward. On your left, you will find a fork in the road just below the ruins, as well as a monument with a timed challenge. From there, turn left again and run straight until you see a gap in the floor. Jump down (it will be a long flight, but you'll land in the water).

You will find yourself in a room where you need to solve a puzzle to proceed. Nearby are two platforms, a soul beacon with an Iktomizaurus, and a yellow switch. Possess the Zaurian and activate the switch. Thanks to it, the right platform will pull a rich chest out of the water, but you still won't be able to take it. Then activate the animal graffiti skill on the wall and place it under the mechanism with the chest. After that, unlock it and take the treasure. This way, you can get the rusty key that will open the further path.

Go to the grate a little further and use the key you obtained there. Continue forward. Soon you will encounter a crowd of enemies: defeat them and take the chest. Possess the Koholozaurus near the water and swim forward. There you will reach the cave where the "Open Your Heart to Me" quest unfolds.

Once in the cave with dragon statues and waterfalls, swim to the other end and climb to a higher level. There, you will notice a small tower enclosed by a grate, and next to it, a phlogiston monument. Fill it with energy and take the strangely illuminated part. Defeat the reanimated automatons and possess the soul beacon with the Iktomizaurus. Jump onto the platform flying near the ceiling, then into the gap on the second floor of the tower. This way, you will escape the trap. Go to the dragon statue near the structure and insert the obtained part. To fit the key into the slot, turn it to the right (D). After that, the quest will automatically start and update the quest log.

After activating the key, the water in the cave will lower slightly, revealing new passages. Possess the Koholozaurus and swim to the indicated round entrance. There you will find a fragment of ancient jade. This item will be needed later, but for now, keep going. Once again, possess the Koholozaurus and swim through the tunnel until you encounter Abyss monsters.

Then go to the highest level of ruins in the cave. There you will see another monument in the shape of a dragon. As before, insert the key, turning the figure as shown in the screenshot. Thanks to this action, the water in the large cave will lower even more. Jump to the very bottom, take the rich chest, and return on the Koholozaurus, remembering to pick up another jade fragment.

Continue inserting keys and opening other passages in the cave. This time, swim to the indicated tunnel. Move straight ahead until you see the mysterious amber stones. To break them, just use the Koholozaurus dash several times and you will be able to clear the way.

Soon you will notice a platform-defense mechanism that emits phlogiston waves across the water. Jump over them to avoid damage and swim close to it. Climb onto it and, rising into the air, go to the round arch. There, switch the Koholozaurus for the Tepetlisaurus and use its skill to move forward. But don't forget to destroy the red spikes, or they will explode and reduce the Zaurian's HP. Soon you will see the third dragon statue. Insert the flint key into it, as before. Unfortunately, Abyss monsters will interfere. Defeat them and repeat the procedure, inserting the figure as shown in the picture.

Go through the round hole behind the monument and you will enter a hall with a large statue, where the water has completely disappeared. On the floor, you will see a golden spark. Approach it and take the last fragment of ancient jade, after which the statue will speak to you. Listen to its story and help gather all the fragments of the dragon ruler's heart. Then proceed with the actions. Since you collected all the jade fragments along the way, just insert them into the statue.

Once all the pieces are inside the statue, numerous amber stones binding the statues will appear. You will automatically be in the Kolohosaurus. Use the Zaurian's dash to destroy the crystals while the water level continues to rise. Avoid the waves of defense mechanisms that deal damage with jumps and destroy all the chains to the last one.

At some point, two platforms will appear and the camera will switch to a top view. Both mechanisms will release balls and beams that deal damage. Try to avoid them and hide in blind spots. After holding out for some time, destroy the remaining stones. Then take the heart from the statue and the quest will be completed.

To claim the additional luxurious chest, proceed to the round arch opposite the statue. Behind the table, you will see a treasury, and on it, you can place the last key. After that, spiritual paths will appear, along which you, in the form of a Koholozaurus, can quickly exit the cave.
