Vatican City Medicine Bottle Locations in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Searching for medicine bottles in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a side quest that is tied to many others. In this guide, we will tell you how to bypass soldiers, use disguises, and choose the right routes to successfully collect all necessary items and progress through the storyline.

Tent on the Square

You can find the first medicine bottle as soon as you leave Father Antonio's library and reach the main square. There will be two tents on the left side. In the first one, you can find money, notes, and a locked chest. But in the second one lies the bottle we need.

The only difficulty in obtaining it is the soldier constantly watching from the guardhouse. He doesn't leave and constantly looks exactly at the place where the bottle is located. However, he can be easily distracted: pick up any glass bottle and throw it behind him directly into the guardhouse. He will be distracted for a while, and you can run into the tent and pick up the quest item. Don't miss a few bags of lira here.

Restricted Access Tent on the Square

Players can access this area at any point during the playthrough, but right after leaving Father Antonio's library. On the main square, you will see a fence, behind which are several military tents. The territory is constantly patrolled by soldiers, so you can try to sneak in disguised as a priest or find the blackshirt outfit, which becomes available after meeting Gina.

If you decide to sneak into this area unnoticed, use one of the two passages. We recommend choosing the narrow passage between wooden crates near the gates.

Postal Alley

The next bottle can be picked up as you progress through the story and reach the post office building. However, before obtaining the camera, we do not recommend searching for this item, as the area will be off-limits to the Germans at the moment.

After getting the camera, exit the post office through the window as you may have climbed in earlier, then turn right. At the end of the street, on the crates, there will be a box with a bottle.

Nicholas V Tower

Once you pick up the previous bottle at the post office, head to the main street and turn left towards the military checkpoint. On the right will be the Nicholas V Tower. You need to go around it and climb a small staircase. On the left, on the crates, there will be a box with a jar.

Via di Belvedere

Return along the main street the same way you came to this area. If you are progressing through the story, go through the large gates that were previously blocked by the fascists. Immediately after the arch, turn left and enter a small nook with crates. Now turn right and you will see a medicine bottle on the table.

Between the Borgia Tower and the Apostolic Palace

If you head to the Apostolic Palace from the Borgia Tower, in the alley to the left you will see several workers and wooden tables. On one of them will be a medicine bottle.

The Roof

If you are following our guide, from the previous location run towards the Apostolic Court and turn right at the intersection, then go up the stairs. On the right will be the entrance to the chapel under reconstruction, but here you can find scaffolding that you can use to climb to the roof. To do this, climb higher and use the whip on the chandelier, then run to the open window.

Once outside, jump onto the roof, where a blackshirt is patrolling. Wait until he turns away, then take the bottle.

Blackshirt Barracks

As in most cases, you can enter the blackshirt barracks almost at the very beginning of the playthrough, as soon as you leave the library. This area is well-guarded, so initially, we recommend finding the appropriate uniform and key (it will be needed to obtain the medicine jar in the locked tent).

However, right now you can climb inside using the scaffolding leading to the wall of the neighboring building, then use the rope. It leads directly to the second floor of the tent, where the collectible item will be waiting.

Locked Tent in Blackshirt Barracks

As we described above, to gain access to this area, you will need a blackshirt uniform and, most importantly, the tent key. It is located in the same area where you can pick up the disguise—right after your first meeting with Gina.

If you have already picked up the necessary items, simply change clothes and use the key to open the door and take the medicine bottle. It is lying on the table at the entrance.

Apostolic Palace

The Apostolic Palace is guarded by several vigilant soldiers. However, unlike other places where enemies respawn after you neutralize them, here all opponents will remain lying in their places. So you can safely demonstrate your hand-to-hand combat skills.

If you are not satisfied with the option mentioned above, try climbing the scaffolding behind the makeshift stage on the main square, and then use the ladder to descend to the main entrance. A medicine bottle lies on the table right at the entrance to the building.

Ventura's Office

Not far from the previous collectible item, a new trophy awaits you. Climb to the upper floors of the Apostolic Palace and enter the guarded room with the dragon statue. There, on the desk next to the bookshelf, a vial will be waiting. By the way, you can solve a puzzle in this place and obtain some valuable items.

Excavation Site

Behind the Apostolic Palace is an excavation site that you will visit multiple times throughout the story. However, at the moment, this area is patrolled by the enemy. We recommend not rushing and progressing a bit through the story until you escape from the dungeon under Nicholas V's tower. Once you reach this location, there will be no enemies nearby, and you can calmly inspect the only building in the area.

Blackshirt Uniform

After your first meeting with Gina, you will gain access to a balcony from where you can sneak into the courtyard with several blackshirts. Here you will also find the key to their barracks and a uniform, as well as a medicine vial.

Borgia Tower

To obtain the next vial, you will need to complete the side activity "Nun in Distress." The quest will become available when you escape from the dungeon under Nicholas V's tower and exit Father Antonio's library.

Simply follow the quest until you find yourself in the Borgia Tower and receive Juliana's key. With it, you can open the locked door in the same tower and access the balcony where a medicine bottle will be waiting.

Sewer

The last item can only be obtained during the side quest "A Mad Priest." If this activity is already in your task journal, head to the Sistine Chapel and speak with the nun, then run to Father Antonio and take the key to the sewer under Nicholas V's tower.

Climbing the drainpipes to the elevation, you will reach the upper, previously accessible floors of the tower. In the narrow passage, do not miss the medicine vial.
