Skill books in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle are needed to acquire additional abilities. They can be found in almost all locations, and books will often appear during the completion of both main and side quests. In this guide, we have explained how to find all existing skill books in the game.

How to Find All Skill Books

To acquire a skill from a book, you need to spend "Research Points," which you earn during your journey. Finding books is not mandatory, and collecting all books is mainly useful for those playing at a high difficulty level or completing the game 100%.

Tip: Do not rush to find books at the beginning of the game. Search for them before completing major plot events, and the same can be said for other game activities.

There are a total of 53 skill books in the game. The items are located on the following levels:

Vatican (23 books).
Giza (27 books).
Himalayas (1 book).
Shanghai (1 book).
Sukhothai (31 books).

Book categories: Survival, Physique, Capacity, Combat, Fight. Most of the books can be found during the completion of main and side quests. Therefore, we recommend completing side quests before actively searching for books. Also, solve all mysteries, puzzles, and riddles to find all keys and all codes and passwords. Following these recommendations will make finding them much easier.

Unique Vatican Books

This section contains unique books that you cannot find in the open world. They can be purchased or obtained by completing certain quests.

Health Books

Good Shape I, II, III. Survival: "You gain another health bar".
Vials: 5, 10, 15.

Energy Books

Vigor I, II, III. Physique: "Stamina reserve increases due to overall endurance improvement".
Vials: 5, 10, 15.

The feature of these books is that you can only obtain them by collecting the necessary number of medicine vials. You can get all these books only if you collect all the vials in the game. To do this, you need to complete the discovery "Cure for All Diseases" in the locations:

Vatican (15 bottles).
Giza (25 bottles).
Sukhothai (20 bottles).

You can buy these books in any location from merchants who exchange them for bottles at all stages of the game. In the Vatican, bottles can be exchanged with a merchant named Valeria.

Vatican Fight Club Books

Unique series of books that can only be purchased in fight clubs in the locations: Vatican, Giza, Sukhothai.

Surgeon I

Capacity: "You can carry one more bandage in your bag".
Research Points: 250.

Indestructibility I

Survival: "You improve your defense by combining two health bars".
Research Points: 350.
Price: 720.

Vatican Books in the Open World

When you reach the main Vatican location, during the storyline, we recommend purchasing the booklet "Vatican Books" from the merchant Ernesto. This will activate the discovery "World of Knowledge," which will significantly simplify your search for books. This task is available in the locations: Vatican, Giza, Sukhothai. You will also be able to buy information about books from merchants. We recommend completing the search for all books at this stage of the game before completing the task with the fountain puzzle.

Knockout I

Combat: "You regain strength by disabling an enemy".
Research Points: 25.
Where to find: Bastion of Saint John. The book is in the guard room, which you will pass through during the storyline, on the chest to the left.

Lucky Hat I

Survival: "Having lost a fight, you can pick up the hat using (Button: Action) and get a second chance." The "Lucky Hat" effect does not work when the stamina provided by Indy's outfit is being restored".
Research Points: 125.
Where to find: Castel Sant'Angelo. The book is on the table in the captain's room, which you will enter when looking for the gate key.

Hand-to-Hand Combat I

Combat: "You deal more damage in hand-to-hand combat with and without weapons".

Where to find: Bastion San Marco. The book is on a crate on the way to Father Antonio, near the place where you descend by rope according to the storyline.

Hand-to-Hand Combat II

Where to find: Belvedere Courtyard, German tent camp at the entrance to the Apostolic Library. The book is on a table in the captain's tent, which is the smallest of the tents.

Vigor I

Physique: "You recover strength faster".

Where to find: Belvedere Courtyard, tent with a truck near the stage. The book is on a table to the right of the entrance.

Experienced Climber I

Physique: "You use less energy and move faster when climbing using (Button: Speed Up)".
Research Points: 100.
Where to find: Belvedere Courtyard. On the roof near the post office, where you will be during the storyline. The book is on a barrel in the far corner before climbing to the rope.

Street Fight I

Combat: "You deal more damage with one-handed and two-handed melee weapons".
Research Points: 250.
Where to find: Belvedere Courtyard. During the "Questions of Archaeology" quest, when you get the keys, head to the basement near the post office. There, in the left corner, the book is in a crate. Code: 1136.

Chokehold

Combat: "Allows you to use the whip to disable small and medium-weight enemies caught by surprise".
Research Points: 200.
Where to find: Borgia Tower. During the quest "A Nun in Trouble", you will get Juliana's key, which you will use to open a room on the top floor of the building adjacent to the tower. The book is on a table in the right corner.

Bone Crusher

Fruit Bag

Capacity: "You can carry twice as many fruits".
Research Points: 250.
Where to find: Apostolic Palace. Once on the palace terrace, you need to find the far table, and the book is by the pot.

First Aid I

Physique: "You recover health faster".
Research Points: 250.
Where to find: Sistine Chapel. When solving the "Secret of Secrets" puzzle in the safe on the table, you will find the book on the lower shelf. Code: 4471.

This section contains unique books that can be obtained in the Giza location.

Health and Energy Books

You can purchase the books "Good Shape" and "Vigor" for medicine bottles from the merchant "Kafur," in the infirmary next to the blue tent in the "Giza Workers' Camp" location.

Giza Fight Club Books

These books can be purchased at the fight club in the "Village in Giza" location, which is located in the basement next to the market.

Surgeon II

Capacity: "You can carry one more bandage in your bag".

Giza Books in the Open World

For searching the following books, it's best to buy the "Giza Books" booklet from the merchant Asma. She is located at the market in the center of the "Village in Giza" location. After that, the "World of Knowledge" quest will appear in the journal. We recommend searching for all books in this location before the quest in the "Ruins of the Buried Temple" area.

First Aid II

Very important point: you can only find this book once throughout the game, as you will not be able to return to this location afterward.

Physique: "You recover health faster".
Research Points: 550.
Where to find: Nazi Airship. When you proceed to the exit of the airship, in one of the cabins on the left side, the book is on the table.

Bandaging

Survival: "You recover more health when using bandages".
Research Points: 550.
Where to find: Village in Giza. When you go to the village during the "Guardians' Sanctuary" quest, inspect the house near the market. the book is on a wooden crate by the blue wall.

Wide Swing

Combat: "You throw items further and deal more damage".
Research Points: 375.
Where to find: Nazi Base. In the tent near the ruins on the side where you will be during the storyline, look for a table with a small chest. The book is next to it.

Spare Ammunition I

Capacity: "You can store half a dozen (6 pieces) more pistol bullets in your bag".
Research Points: 500.
Where to find: Nazi Base. On the second floor of the main headquarters, move to the very end. the book is on the table near the lamp.

Unstoppable Force I

Combat: "Damage from enhanced strikes increases".

Research Points: 450.
Where to find: Nazi Rest Tent. In search of the artifact for the "Guardians' Sanctuary" quest, find the longest tent. The book is on a crate near a green bag.

Impenetrability

Combat: "You can block blows dealt with cold weapons".
Research Points: 400.
Where to find: Nazi Transport Garage. Next to the garage where you searched for the plaque during the storyline, in the tent to the left of the checkpoint, the book is in a crate.

Sturdy Lasso

Combat: "You can grab a heavy enemy, pulling them towards you with a whip".

Where to find: Funerary Temple of Khentkaus I. There are many books in this location. we recommend simultaneously completing the "Secret of the Queen Mother" quest. North of the excavation, find a wooden house. the book is on the dining table to the left of the entrance.

Professional Shooter I

Combat: "One-handed firearms deal more damage".
Research Points: 500.
Where to find: Funerary Temple of Khentkaus I. You need to follow the blue wires from the elevator shaft to the pump, and when you find it, turn right, then you will find a crate with the book inside.

Experienced Climber II

Physique: "You expend less energy and move faster when climbing with a whip using (Button: Acceleration)".
Research Points: 150.
Where to find: Funerary Temple of Khentkaus I. Climb to the top of the pyramid south of the excavation site and find the table with the book on it.

Vigor II

Physique: "You recover energy faster".
Research Points: 575.
Where to find: Workers' Camp in Giza. Find the ruins between the camp and the excavation site. Climb to the top. The book is on a crate.

Hand-to-Hand Combat III

Combat: "You deal more damage in hand-to-hand combat with and without weapons".
Research Points: 700.
Where to find: Excavation at the Temple of Harri. When you arrive at the excavation site, to the left of the checkpoint, find the captain's tent. the book is on the table next to the papers.

Street Fight II

Combat: "You deal more damage with one-handed and two-handed melee weapons".
Research Points: 750.
Where to find: Workers' Camp in Giza. Find the iron radio antenna and enter the tent located next to it. In the center of the tent on the lower bunk, the book is located.

Bread Basket

Capacity: "You can carry twice as much bread with you".
Research Points: 400.
Where to find: Workers' Camp in Giza. Exiting the blue tent, go straight and enter the second tent on the right. The book is on the table next to the fruits.

Strength of Spirit

Survival: "You take less damage when you are left with the last health bar".
Research Points: 450.
Where to find: Workers' Camp in Giza. Head south from the camp to the place where you first appear. Near the ruins, follow into the cave. the book is located at the feet of a skeleton.

Himalayas

The "Himalayas" location is a linear corridor. While progressing through the chapter, you can only find one skill book.

Professional Shooter II

Combat: "Increases the damage of firearms that need to be held with both hands".
Research Points: 775.
Where to find: Ship "Kummetz". After encountering the Nazis, in the steering cabin on the bridge, find the communication node where the book is on the table to the left of the radio operator's body.

Shanghai

Similar to the previous location, you won't stay long in Shanghai and will be able to find only one book to gain additional hero abilities.

Agility

Combat: "You gain a stamina boost after a flawless dodge".
Research Points: 500.
Where to find: Shanghai. In the building where you find the map, go up one floor and find a table near the window with the book on it.

Unique Sukhothai Books

This section describes unique books that players can obtain only in the Sukhothai location through side activities.

Health and Energy Books

You can buy them for vials from the trader "Nu" in the "Clinic" location. The building is located in the center of the "Khaimuk-Saksit Village" area.

Sukhothai Fight Club Books

You can buy the books in the fight club, location "Jungle Brutes Club". You will find it on the east of the map.

Surgeon III

Capacity: "You can carry one more bandage in your bag".
Research Points: 950.
Price: 700.

Indomitable III

Survival: "You improve your defense by combining two health bars".
Research Points: 2100.
Price: 1200.

Sukhothai Open World Books

You need to complete the search for books before starting the "Terrible Research" quest because you won't be able to travel afterward. To make it easier to find the books, you need to buy the booklet "Sukhothai Books" from the trader Thongdang in the "Thongdang's Hut" location.

Powerful Grip

Combat: "You can grab heavy enemies in hand-to-hand combat".
Research Points: 500.
Where to find: Thongdang's Hut. Behind the trader's hut, find the flooded house, the book is in a safe on the shelf. Code: 2480.

Powerful Impulse

Combat: "You can push heavy enemies".
Research Points: 700.
Where to find: Khaimuk-Saksit Village. Find the southernmost river gates. To the left, there is a small piece of land with a large stone in the center, and behind it, a small wooden box. Remove the lid to get the book.

Jack of All Trades

Combat: "The durability of cold weapons increases".

Where to find: Wat Si Sawai Temple. During the mission "The Boy Who Disappeared", upon reaching the temple at the end of the long corridor, find the book on a box before the turn to the stairs.

Iron Grip II

Where to find: Wat Chana Songkhram Temple. In the search for the solution to the puzzle "Timely Arrival", find a basket with fruits in the ruins to the left in front of the checkpoint, where the book is located.

Where to find: Wat Sasi Temple. During the mission "Labyrinths of the Past", upon reaching the temple grounds, find a hill with relatively intact ruins in the form of a stone house. The book is in a basket with food.

Rage

Where to find: Wat Mahathat Temple. Upon reaching the temple, find the tower from which a rope leads down. Go around the tower on the left side and take the book from the basket.

Street Fight III

Where to find: Wat Mahathat Temple. To the right of the temple, find a long tent. Then you need to solve the puzzle "Counting Letters", after which you can open the chest with the book. Code: 4134.

Unstoppable Force II

Where to find: Fascist Armory. Go up to the second floor of the main building and take the book on the table next to the rifle.

Knockout II

If you are unable to find any book, try carefully studying this guide again. If you cannot access the places you need, it is most likely because they are related to some other mission. In any case, the main thing is not to rush anywhere and follow the following formula. Before completing key missions in the main locations, complete all side missions, solve all puzzles and riddles, find all keys, and only then start searching for books.
