A Nun in Trouble: Indiana Jones And The Great Circle quest walkthrough

In the game Indiana Jones And The Great Circle, there are additional activities, but the number of individual side quests is limited. One such task is A Nun in Trouble. Gamers can easily miss it while following the main storyline. In this guide, we will detail the quest walkthrough, explain how to start and complete it, and what rewards await for its completion.

How to start the Nun in Trouble quest

The additional quest will become available automatically as soon as you return to Father Antonio for the second time with the manuscript from the tomb under Nicholas V's tower. After receiving the next assignment, exit the library and wait for the corresponding task to appear in the task log. Follow the marker on the map, reach the Sistine Chapel, and talk to Gina.

How to find the entrance to the Vatican Museum

After a lengthy cutscene, head back to the square in front of the library and inspect the fenced-off area with military tents. You can enter in two ways:

  1. On the right side (from the library side), there is a hole in the fence through which you can crawl.
  2. On the left side, there is a narrow passage between the boxes.

You can choose any option, but we recommend taking the second route through the narrow passage. Here you will find many bottles on the left-hand side that can be used to distract the Nazis.

We recommend thoroughly inspecting this area and finding useful items, including a bottle of medicine.

Sneak behind the enemies and enter the only interactive door here, which leads to the garden.

If you linger in the garden, you can find a lonely military tent with a sleeping enemy. Inside, you can pick up money and useful items, as well as solve the puzzle A Date to Remember. We have described the detailed solution to this puzzle in a separate guide.

So, sneak behind the enemies or knock them out, then climb the large staircase and interact with the small window leading to the basement.

How to find all clues in the Vatican Museum

After climbing the stairs with Gina, you'll need to take out a few Nazis. Your companion will decide to take on one herself, but if you leave it to her, dealing with the enemy will take quite a while. We suggest helping her out.

This fight will be legendary

In the same room, take an optional photo of the Roman frescoes and proceed down to the storage rooms. There will be a guard waiting at the storage door — you can knock him out or ignore him, but be sure to take the money on the table next to him.

On the floor behind the paintings lies a nun's identification card named Guliana (1/6). A little further in the dead end, you'll find a piece of clothing (2/6), Gina's note (3/6), and bloodstains on the wall (4/6). Collect the evidence and take a photo of the bloodstains to continue the quest.

Once you've done these actions, Gina will find a photo of Indiana Jones in the toolbox and open the only door here. Run down and take a photo of the overturned paint can (5/6). In the next room, photograph the bloodstains on the floor (6/6) and pick up the gold ring.

Right after this, soldiers will appear. Whether to deal with them or leave unnoticed is up to you. In any case, in the next room, you'll notice a safe. We have detailed where to find the combination for it in this guide. Just use the code 7171.

How to climb to the upper floors of the Borgia Tower

The easiest way to get into the Borgia Tower is to climb the scaffolding behind the improvised stage on the main square in front of the library. Here you need to pass by a Nazi, climb even higher, and enter through the window. You may have already been in this room and solved the puzzle House of God. If not yet, be sure to read this guide.

Gina will be waiting by the previously locked door, behind which stands a crowd of fascists. It's best to get rid of them, as there will be enemies on the upper floors too. Use improvised means and deal with the problem.

The path upwards is quite linear. Climb the ladder and traverse the scaffolding to get to the second floor. On the scaffolding, you can find a repair kit, and nearby on the table, another Card.

A bit higher up, a Nazi will be waiting, and next to him is a suitcase with banknotes. On this same floor, use the whip to get to the opposite side, as the door on the left is locked. After doing this, you'll encounter a locked door leading to the balcony, but you won't be able to get out yet. You can do this later and start solving the Father and Son puzzle.

Continue climbing higher. On the next level, on the right, on a large wooden crate, lies a recipe note.

Jump into the hole in the floor to end up on the other side of the locked door, then continue climbing higher. Again, get rid of the group of enemies and proceed to the topmost floor. Open the door, behind which you hear male and female voices, and watch a lengthy cutscene.

Upon the video’s completion, the quest will be completed, and you will receive Guliana's key, which will allow you to open the door to the balcony, pick up a bottle of medicine, and solve the puzzle we mentioned earlier.
