Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: Fortuna Walkthrough

The third main quest, Fortuna, tells the story of how fortune has smiled upon the protagonists of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, but this doesn’t mean all trials are behind them. This quest presents new challenges that will require wit and determination. In our guide, you’ll find step-by-step instructions on how to successfully complete all stages of the quest, as well as tips on how to earn additional reputation points.
Fortuna
The quest begins with the main character being injured during a fight with a bandit. You cannot control the character at this moment, but you can choose response options that appear after certain scenes. However, this is optional. Upon waking up in the old woman's hut, you will receive several mandatory tasks.
Stop the Bleeding
First, you need to stop the bleeding — the old woman gave you some bandages, but for some reason, she couldn't bandage a half-dead person herself. Naturally, this is for training purposes.
Open the inventory and select the bandage. Double-click on it, then drag the slider to the far right to use the maximum amount and bandage all wounds. Also, don't forget to put on the short shirt; you can find other items outside.
Wash in the Tub
Before speaking to Bozhena again, have some stew from the cauldron and go outside. To the left, there is a tub of water, but we recommend first inspecting the bandit's corpse in the yard. You can borrow his belongings, which, by the way, are bloodstained. Once you do this and put on the new gear, wash yourself in the tub. The blood will be washed off not only from the body but also from the clothes. You can use this tip with other gear in the future.
Bury the Body
Return to the old woman and receive two new assignments. Near the dead body, there's a shovel — take it, then grab the body and follow the path marked I on the map.
At the end of the path, drop the body and lower the camera. In the bottom right corner of the screen, the word "Dig" will appear. Prepare the grave and throw the body in, then cover the grave.
Collect Sage and Chamomile
The main character's friend feels much worse than the protagonist, so he will need help. Return to Bozhena's house and go around it on the right side. Ahead, you'll see a gate and a passage between the rocks. This path leads directly to a clearing where the old woman collects medicinal plants.
Look for plants with purple and white flowers. The first flowers are sage, and the second are chamomile. Collect the required amount and return to Bozhena. Although such plants can easily be found in the open world, we recommend
On the way back, as soon as you approach the grandmother's house, you will see two bandits. Equip the butcher's knife and quickly kill one of them. The second opponent will soon flee, and you will have to go back to the stream to bury the body. Don't forget to search the poor fellow first to get some supplies and a bunch of keys.
Brew a Healing Potion
In this subtask, you simply need to follow the old woman's instructions, first telling her that you have no alchemy skills. Place the book on the shelf and start brewing the potion:
- Add wine to the cauldron.
- Lower the cauldron and use the bellows to bring the liquid to a boil.
- Raise the cauldron, open the inventory, and select the necessary herbs (Sage and Chamomile). The herbs will appear on the shelf to your right.
- Take two handfuls of chamomile and throw them into the pot, then place the cauldron on the fire and flip the hourglass. You should remove the pot from the fire as soon as the last grain falls.
- Take the sage and crush it in the mortar, then throw it into the cauldron and cook a little longer.
- Remove the pot from the fire, take the flask from the shelf on the left, and pour the potion into it.
If you do everything correctly, you will get a regular chamomile decoction. If you make a mistake somewhere, you will get a weak chamomile decoction. In this case, the protagonist will mention where you might have gone wrong.
Join the Others for Breakfast
In the conversation with the women, you can choose whether to tell long stories or keep it brief. Depending on your responses, you will either increase or decrease your reputation:
- The lord was captured by Cumans...
- Mercenaries from Hungary.
- How the lord caught an arrow...
- Thank you for bringing me here.
Additionally, you will need to return the shovel to the owner and receive a saving schnapps and its recipe.
In the conversation with the lord, tell him that you saw Toth last night, and then respond that it sounds strange. This way, you will gain some reputation points.
