Split Fiction: Rader Publishing — Chapter 1 Walkthrough

Rader Publishing is the first story chapter in the game Split Fiction. Here you will meet the main characters and learn the premise. Additionally, in this chapter, you'll have to complete the first two stories. This guide provides a detailed walkthrough of the episode.

Run forward, overcoming obstacles. When you reach a large gap, use the wall to get to the other side. A little further on, a platform will appear on the right side. Jump onto it, then use a jump to leap onto the wall on the left. Wait for the blades on the right to close to reach the console and interact with it.

When the elevator stops, prepare to dodge electrical charges from the plane, dealing area damage. Use rolls, then try not to die during the fall of the aircraft.

Move across moving platforms, then along narrow broken walls to the rotating platform, from where you can reach the rotating blade. One player must stop the wheel from spinning so that the other can pass through. When the first player stops interacting with the device, they will have a few seconds to pass through the wheel.

When the platform in front of you explodes, grab onto the nearest ledge and move forward, bypassing obstacles along the walls. Soon you will reach vertical supports that you will have to climb over. Note that the pistons of some supports will move. Once at the terminal, watch the markers on the left and right of the screen and interact with the console when they are exactly in the center to fill the gauge.

Immediately after this, the defensive device will be destroyed, and players will have to dodge falling charges from the sky. To do this, orient yourself by the lasers indicating the impact points of the shells. Eventually, the central part of the platform will be destroyed — direct the character to the pool directly below you.

The protagonists can stay in the water for an unlimited amount of time. Just swim to the left side until you find an exit from underwater. Time your movements and climb across the press platforms. Walk along the narrow wall and climb higher using the ladder.

Opening the only door, try to run as fast as possible across the platform ahead, as the flying device will gradually destroy them. One of the players must latch onto the weapon, and the other must climb into the pilot's cabin.

Now the task is very simple: the player at the machine gun repels enemy planes, while the gamer at the helm tries to avoid collision with various debris that can damage the plane. If everything is done correctly, the heroes' aircraft will crash, and they will find themselves next to a glitch, which will take them to another era.

The second location begins with a chase from huge ogres. Follow the right side, dodging barrels, and after the platform is destroyed, just run towards the camera until you fall into the water. Even here, enemies will pursue you, but use them for escape: the first enemy will always destroy a part of the grid in the pipe, so swim there.

Soon you will find yourself on a moving platform. Here, you need to climb higher up the support, but you must do it quickly, or the heroes will be crushed by the gears. Wait for the nearest gear to pass the player, then perform a double jump. Once out, perform a leap of faith into the hay.

In the next location, you need to split up: one player goes right and throws fruits at the monsters for distraction, while the other tries to sneak behind the cover on the left. After doing this, switch roles.

Now head to the large square. Here you will see stationary flagpoles and monsters carrying them. You can only reach the opposite side through the guillotine in the center of the location. Push the large box forward to trigger a cutscene and see another glitch.

From this point, you will have to run away from the monsters again, but this time you have to climb the tower. Remember, if one player dies in the process, they will respawn in a few seconds. However, the death of both heroes will lead to a segment restart.
