Assassin's Creed Shadows: Kii Shimosato Kofun Walkthrough

In Assassin's Creed Shadows, players can find and explore ancient Japanese tombs. By fully completing each of the kofuns, you are guaranteed to receive an experience point and discover a legendary chest with valuable equipment. Let's figure out how to find and complete the Kii Shimosato Kofun.

You can complete this tomb as Yasuke. The tomb is located at the very south of the game map in Kumano Sanzan in the Kii region. Find the tomb below the Kumano Nachi Taisha shrine. The nearest viewpoint to it is Mount Takayama.

Descend downwards. There will be a chest and an entrance to the tomb, where there is a box that needs to be pushed to the right.

Then you will find a body of water, into which you need to dive and swim through the corridors. Exit the water and in the next room turn left until you find a box and an oil pot. Take the incendiary device and blow it up near the pile of stones. Then swim under the formed passage to the next section of the dungeons.

After surfacing, you will see two passages. The one on the left is blocked by stones, so you need to go to the right until you see a pot in a crevice that needs to be shot.

Return to the place where you surfaced and move straight until you hit a blocked passage. To clear it, turn left and move the boxes aside. You will find yourself in the place where you previously picked up the pot. Now it needs to be blown up at the stone blockage.

After this, you can move further. Climb up the stairs and go down the corridor until you hit a box. Move it slightly forward, then to the left close to the wall and climb up. Then move the box in the opposite direction and climb to the next level.

Turn right and collect resources from the chest. Return back and move deeper into the ruins until you reach a broken bridge, from which you need to jump into the water. Dive to the bottom and swim through the flooded corridors to the end. Climb up and open the casket.

Then dive again, but now swim into the left tunnel to the next section of the ruins. After exiting the water, turn left and open the case. Then turn right from it and go straight until you see a bomb on the right and a blockage on the left that needs to be destroyed. Behind the stones is a box — move it in the opposite direction.

Climb up and go straight until you find the legendary chest.

Reward:

From the chest, turn right and go down the corridor until you find an oil bomb. Blow it up — this will open a passage leading to the beginning of the tomb, from where you can exit to the surface.
