Assassin's Creed Shadows: Yamashiro Ancient Tomb of Nanjo Walkthrough

In the picturesque region of Yamashiro in Assassin's Creed Shadows, players will find not only ancient fortresses and other attractions but also the ancient kofun Yamashiro Ancient Tomb of Nanjo. If you are having difficulty navigating it or don't know where the tomb is located, this guide is for you.

The tomb is available for exploration only as Naoe. The ruins are located in the eagle's nest of the Yamashiro region, southwest of the city of Kyoto. The nearest viewpoint is the Forgotten Pagoda.

Descend and squeeze through a narrow crevice. In the first room to the left of the stone sarcophagus, open the chest. Continue forward, follow the rope down, and you'll find yourself in the first hall of the ruins. Then go up the stairs and turn right.

Proceed down the corridor to the next descent. Here, open the case, then turn right and move towards the flooded hall. The left path will lead you back to the start, so go straight: cross the water by jumping on stone pillars, then jump into the water and crawl under the rock.

Continue forward until you reach a hall with a small chest in the center. From the chest, go straight, as the left path is a dead end leading back to the beginning of the tomb. You will then find yourself in a large tunnel — climb up the stones and planks to the right until you reach the next hall with a chest and a fork.

Turn right, as the left path again leads to the start. You will then need to cross a flooded grotto by jumping on stones and using a grappling hook. At the end, squeeze through the crack into the last room with the legendary chest.

Rewards:

Go around the large sarcophagus behind the chest — it will lead you to the central hall. Jump into the water, then use the rope to exit the ruins.
