Assassin's Creed Shadows: Missing Missive Walkthrough

Missing Missive is the thirty-second main quest in Assassin's Creed Shadows. Here you’ll find a step-by-step walkthrough for all stages of the mission.

To track the quest, open the objectives board and select the quest under the Shinbakufu section.

The courier can be found west of the southern outskirts of Kyoto. Follow the river until you reach the bridge.

From the bridge, head northwest, past the Tenryu-ji Temple, until you find yourself in the Bamboo Grove. The person with the letter is hiding in a camp off the main road. You can either talk to him or try to kill him stealthily. Strangely enough — in both cases, he survives. If you engage in dialogue — he’ll challenge you to an honorable one-on-one fight. If you go for a stealth takedown — you’ll simply get the letter automatically.

Leave the Bamboo Grove and head south, back to the road, where the courier will be waiting for you.

The Missing Missive quest is complete. Another clue on the path to uncovering the Shinbakufu’s schemes. The continuation won’t be long in coming.
