Todd Howard hinted at NCR's future in Fallout
The release of the series based on the Fallout universe caused a storm of indignation among fans of Fallout: New Vegas, which was caused by the events of the show. According to them, the New California Republic (NCR) was completely destroyed. However, Todd Howard indirectly confirmed that the organization could still return.
Let's remember that in the Amazon show they showed us a funnel on the site of the capital of NCR — the city of Shady Sands. It turned out that it was blown up just four years after the events of Fallout: New Vegas. And judging by the final episodes of the series, there is practically nothing left of the faction.
However, in a recent interview with IGN, Todd Howard dismissed fan fears about NCR's fate:
If you believe his words, then Bethesda has not put an end to the fate of NCR, and the organization may still be revived in the future. We have already seen something similar with the Enclave — having been destroyed in Fallout 2, the faction returned in the following parts of the game, and even appeared in the series.
