DLC-Sized Expansion Mod Skyrim: Lordbound to Release in March 2025
Fans of Skyrim have been working on Lordbound for 10 years — an incredibly large-scale addition with a new storyline and hours of content. The last trailer was released back in 2018, but recently the developers suddenly got in touch and released a fresh video — with a release window!
The addition will see the light in March 2025. According to the team, during the development many participants have become real professionals and have managed to contribute to Helldivers 2 and the Halo and Horizon series.
Lordbound will tell about a new epic adventure on the border of High Rock and Skyrim. The Dragonborn will be sent to the war-torn Druadach Valley, where the Imperial Legion seeks to capture the trade route to Jehanna, and the Orc chieftain Gorek aims to protect his new home from invaders. Meanwhile, the hero will meet Lord Halan, who is trying to uncover the truth about his family's past.
Features of Lordbound:
- A new region of 3 km², larger than Solstheim;
- More than 60 hours of content: the authors promise over 40 quests and 50 new dungeons;
- «The biggest» main quest with many choices and consequences;
- New weapons, armor, and spells;
- Fully voiced NPCs and an original soundtrack.
It is worth noting that 2025 will also see the release of Skyblivion — another large-scale mod that will bring all the content from Oblivion to Skyrim. Recently, the authors showed fresh screenshots.
