A New Mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Allows Players to Join Factions Like Duty and Freedom

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has received an ambitious mod that adds a free-roaming exploration mode. The modification allows players to abandon the main storyline, join their preferred faction, and focus on exploring the Zone.
At the start, players can choose their initial location, equipment, faction, rank, and more. The developer has increased the number of repeatable missions and added several small camps for factions that previously lacked their own bases.
The list of available factions includes: Newbies, Loners, Bandits, Freedom, Duty, Ecologists, Noon, Monolith, Spark, Ward, Militaries, Mercenaries, and Corps.
The creator warned that this is an experimental modification, so players may encounter bugs. In the future, he plans to significantly expand the functionality by adding new factions and quests. The mod can be downloaded here.
Previously, GSC Game World celebrated the release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which is already being hailed as a potential "Game of the Year."
