Insider: Metroid Prime 5 is Already in Development, But Will Be a Switch 2 Exclusive

Insider Nash Weedle has revealed that Nintendo is already working on Metroid Prime 5, even though the company has yet to release Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. According to him, both projects are being developed simultaneously.
Weedle also mentioned that the fifth installment will focus on vertical exploration with altered gravity mechanics. He believes the game will be a Switch 2 exclusive and is expected to release in 2027.
Interestingly, Weedle accurately predicted the release of Metroid Dread in 2021.
