Metroid Dread is an adventure action-platformer with a side view set in the sci-fi universe of Metroid. The game is a direct sequel to Metroid Fusion from 2002. The story will conclude the five-part saga of the intricate fates of bounty hunter Samus and the Metroids, which began in the very first Metroid game for the NES. The game takes place on a mysterious planet where Samus is pursued by E.M.M.I. robots. As you progress, you will be able to expand your arsenal of abilities and return to previously visited locations — in the best traditions of the series.
