Split Fiction Dev Announces Joke Edition for Friendless Players
March 4, 2025, 01:08 PM

On March 6, Josef Fares will release his new co-op adventure, Split Fiction. While the game is designed exclusively for cooperative play, the developers haven’t forgotten about those struggling to find a partner.
To help solo gamers, the studio has announced a joke edition called Friend Edition, which comes with a real-life friend in the box. And if that sounds too pricey, there’s always the option to find a co-op partner on Hazelight’s official Discord server.
Fares also reminded fans that only one copy of Split Fiction is needed for co-op, as the second player can join for free.
Split Fiction launches on March 6 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Reviews are expected to drop later today.
