RX 9070 XT vs. RTX 5070 Ti Tested in 4K — Minimal Difference

The first benchmarks of the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti have surfaced online, showcasing their performance in modern games at 4K resolution with maxed-out settings. Contrary to expectations, the results are not so clear-cut.

In Cyberpunk 2077, the RX 9070 XT delivered an average of 42 FPS, while the RTX 5070 Ti performed slightly better. However, the difference was not significant enough to impact gameplay noticeably. In Red Dead Redemption 2, the RTX 5070 Ti had a clear edge, consistently pushing over 100 FPS at max settings in 4K, whereas the RX 9070 XT lagged behind. The gap was especially evident in 1% low frame rates, indicating smoother overall performance on NVIDIA’s card.

In God of War, the competition was much closer, with both cards performing almost identically. The RX 9070 XT maintained slightly more stable frame rates. While the RTX 5070 Ti achieves higher FPS in most benchmarks, the RX 9070 XT is $150 cheaper (roughly 13,000 RUB), making it a potentially better value for money. The frame rate gap exists but isn’t significant enough to fully justify NVIDIA’s higher price tag.
