First Alien: Isolation 2 Trailer Revealed
At Summer Game Fest 2026, Creative Assembly debuted the very first trailer for the survival horror sequel Alien: Isolation 2. The upcoming title is being built on Unreal Engine 5.
Departing from the original game's Sevastopol Station setting, the sequel lands players on the surface of a rain-drenched planet. The footage showcases a bleak human colony closely echoing Hadley's Hope from Aliens.
"When a search team discovers mysterious spacecraft wreckage on a remote colonial planet, one crew member becomes determined to explore it. No one is prepared for the horror that suddenly engulfs the colony. Safety is nowhere to be found. Thus begins a desperate struggle to survive and escape, with a lethal creature stalking the explorer's every move," reads the official Steam description.
The project is currently in development for PC, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PS5. No release date has been announced yet.
As a reminder, another Alien game is also in the pipeline: the co-op shooter Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2. The developers recently showcased 33 minutes of raw gameplay.
