Marvel's Wolverine Gets Cinematic Trailer
Insomniac Games has showcased a brand-new cinematic trailer for Marvel's Wolverine, titled "Ain't No Hero". The footage also reaffirms the game's official release date, confirming it will launch on September 15, 2026.
Marvel's Wolverine is a brutal third-person action-adventure set within the same universe as Marvel's Spider-Man. The narrative centers on James "Logan" Howlett, a rugged mutant struggling with amnesia as he desperately tries to uncover the dark secrets of his forgotten past.
The plot follows Logan as he is pulled back into his former black-ops mutant strike team, Team X. This reunion is triggered by the threat of Bolivar Trask, a fanatical billionaire whose cybernetic militia has launched a massive, planet-wide hunt for hidden mutants in a bid to enforce human supremacy. Developed with an adult audience in mind, the project has officially received a Mature (18+) rating.
Marvel's Wolverine is being developed exclusively for the PlayStation 5, and digital pre-orders are already live on the PlayStation Store.
This update follows recent news that Marvel's Wolverine will have a major presence at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, where developers are set to reveal fresh story details and never-before-seen content.
