The Heel of History: Dragon's Dogma 2 Walkthrough Guide

This guide focuses on «The Heel of History» quest in Dragon's Dogma 2, a direct continuation from the «The Caged Magistrate» quest, if players choose to free the state official from the dungeon. In this quest, players are tasked with assisting a priest to find one of the missing children. We will guide you through the process of tracking down the child, offering strategies for navigating the areas involved and interacting with NPCs to gather clues. You'll learn how to efficiently complete the quest by using the best routes and methods to ensure the child is found safely and swiftly.

The quest will start immediately after talking to the holy father, if you decided to go the route of freeing the magistrate from the dungeon. You will have to find a place with many books for him to agree to go with you.

To continue with the task, speak to the priest again. He will utter only one sentence, that the Arisen needs to talk to the children in the slums.

Across from the church on the ground sits a boy named Harvey. Approach him and learn that Malcolm went off in search of treasures and is on the verge of some grand discovery.

A little to the right of this guy stands another with long hair. His name is Rick and the boy will tell you that Malcolm has been messing around in the ruins next to the church lately.

Finally, enter the church, where a little girl named Amy will be waiting. If she's not there, look outside — she often moves around the location. She'll let slip that she was supposed to go to the storages with Malcolm but overslept.

After questioning all three, find the priest (he will be roaming around the location) and tell him everything. The holy father will immediately understand which ruins are being referred to and will ask you to follow him.

Descend and inspect the location. It's looped, so you won't get lost. There won't be any secrets here, however, when you find the boy and are running to the library, after emerging from the breach, inspect the barrels and crates. Behind them will be a Seeker's Token.

In the library itself, you can find a scroll of Volcanic Melody and a bag of gold. There will be no other valuables here.
