Apple may enlarge iPhone displays in 2027 as Pro models get bigger

Apple is reportedly testing a bigger chassis for its 2027 iPhone Pro models, according to leaker Digital Chat Station, with the phones expected to keep the same aspect ratio even as their screens grow.

If the leak is accurate, the iPhone (2027) Pro will move from a 6.3-inch display to 6.4 inches, while the iPhone (2027) Pro Max will reportedly jump from 6.9 inches to 7 inches. Digital Chat Station also says the phones will become physically larger than their predecessors.

Another expected change is a smaller Dynamic Island cutout. The leaker adds that Apple could eventually remove Dynamic Island altogether if it successfully implements under-display image sensors.

This would not be the first time Apple has changed Pro screen sizes. The company last did so in 2024 with the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

For now, though, this remains an insider claim rather than an official announcement. If the report proves correct, Apple could make its 2027 Pro phones noticeably larger while trimming the front cutout at the same time.
