A magical and mysterious world exists, and once again it is threatened by danger. That’s why we’ll have to embark on another adventure full of perils and mysteries, together with our heroes: the wizard Amadeus, the knight Pontius, and the thief Zoya.

Fairyland

Let's start with the fact that the fairyland is in danger, and our heroes simply must reunite their forces and set out to save this land. The story of the game begins with a magical artifact summoning three heroes to rescue the magical world. Now we have no choice but to take everything we need and set out on our journey.

There are still only three of them

As mentioned before, there are three heroes in the game. Each of them has their own unique skills and abilities. For example, the knight Pontius carries a bulky shield that can protect him from any attack, as well as a sword and a hammer for defeating enemies. The wizard Amadeus has a whole arsenal of magical spells at his disposal to help us in various situations. Meanwhile, the thief Zoya is skilled in parkour and gymnastics, so she can easily leap across gaps. Zoya also carries a bow with arrows and a grappling hook, which allows her to latch onto certain platforms.

A world full of colors

The game world is highly diverse and rendered in bright, vibrant tones. Here you’ll encounter trampoline mushrooms, giant frogs, and talking flowers—in short, the magical world of Trine 2. The story itself isn’t particularly impressive, but you don’t really pay much attention to it. The main focus is on the various puzzles and riddles you’ll have to solve. Each puzzle requires its own approach: sometimes you’ll need brute force, sometimes magic, and sometimes you’ll have to do quite a bit of jumping across moving platforms.
