Absolute Blue is a science-fiction side-scrolling shooter about a pilot who becomes humanity’s last hope against invading alien hordes. Flying a ship called the Jaeger, the pilot fights through 60 sectors across 12 levels and four worlds, dodging enemy fire and returning fire.
The ship can be upgraded and equipped with satellites, while three types of primary weapons are available. The game includes three difficulty modes, high-speed sections and screen-filling bosses. Its synth soundtrack and visual style draw on games of the 1980s and 1990s.
