ActRaiser 2 — the narration is again told on behalf of the god-like Master, the events that take place echo the plot of the first part, although it is not known for sure whether this is a prequel, a continuation of the original, or simply a re-interpretation of those events within the framework of some alternative reality. The opening cutscene shows a battle with the demon Tanzra; it turns out that he once stood on the path of good, but one day he started a rebellion against his master, the Master, and after defeat, he was expelled from paradise for treason. The defeated demon, being in the afterlife, began to gather a new army and embodied the seven deadly human sins in the form of monsters. Now the Master’s task is to find pockets of the spread of monsters and eliminate them, while he personally descends from heaven to earth and fights in the guise of an angel statue.
