Age of Cavemen is a multiplayer strategy game about building a settlement and competing for control of a prehistoric world. The player takes the role of a village chief, developing the settlement and defending its people from wild dangers and attacks by other clans.

An army can be trained and led into battle against rival forces. Players can form alliances, explore the prehistoric world alongside other chieftains, and fight their opponents.
