This first-person science-fiction shooter with horror elements centres on a conflict between Colonial Marines, Aliens and Predators. Its three separate campaigns let players take the side of one of these species and fight for survival aboard starships and stations, at colonial bases and in other hazardous locations.
Each species has its own abilities, weapons and equipment. Aliens move quickly across walls and ceilings and attack from hiding, Predators hunt using stealth and specialised weapons, while Marines rely on motion trackers, grenade launchers and flamethrowers. In the single-player Skirmish mode, players face hordes of Aliens; multiplayer matches are also available.
