A surreal 3D adventure about Yuito, a Japanese-American man who enters the supernatural Memory World of his dying father. A 31-year-old hedge fund analyst, Yuito receives a letter from the father he has been estranged from and chooses to explore his memories and secrets while his father remains on life support. The story deals with a father and son, as well as Asian-American identity, race, and nationality.
The player navigates surreal and more realistic locations from a third-person perspective, traverses light platforming sections, and speaks with characters while venturing deeper into the Memory World. The game’s lo-fi visual style draws on the PSX and N64 era.
