Riley Park inherited the house of her reclusive aunt Kate. In the attic she finds an old television and a stack of untitled VHS tapes. Riley inserts the first tape and discovers a children's animated series with the main characters Amanda and Curly. As she watches, Riley begins to feel that the characters are communicating with her through the TV. She continues to watch the tapes, and it seems to her that Amanda needs the heroine's help.
