This adventure action-platformer is set in a digital world and follows a girl who can rupture time as she tries to reunite with her father. Apocalypse Cow blends metroidvania elements with arcade beat ’em up combat: the heroine fights enemies, solves puzzles and explores levels filled with unusual characters.
Her time-bending ability can slow traps and bullets, as well as freeze objects in mid-air for use as platforms. Combat includes katanas, bazookas and other weapons, while costumes provide additional options. The game supports solo play and local co-op, with levels adapted for two players; it also features a standard mode, an easier mode and an unlockable speedrun mode.
