A fantasy fighting game in which heroines battle with the aid of angels and magical Arcanas. In Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX!!!!!, players choose a character and one of 23 Arcanas, combining their abilities with a range of combat techniques. Battles feature combos, homing movement, bursts and powerful attacks including Arcana Eclipse and Arcana Blaze.
Each heroine has a main story, additional short episodes and an after-story set at a hot spring. Alongside the story mode, players can take on survival, trials and time attack, fight other players or practice. The gallery lets players unlock illustrations and animations, while online modes offer ranked and player matches.
