This expansion to Arcania: Gothic 4 continues the Nameless Hero’s story as he and his allies confront a mysterious demon threatening the Southern Isles and the coastal city of Setarrif. A volcanic eruption worsens the crisis, while King Rhobar III sends troops to seize the city and then loses contact with them.
Some story segments are played from the perspective of the hero’s allies. Exploring new regions and dungeons brings encounters with new characters and enemies, while new weapons and armor let players develop their combat skills. A character from the main game can be imported.
Arcania: Fall of Setarrif is not a very successful expansion for such a successful game as Gothic 4. A weak storyline and having the main character fully leveled up at the beginning of the game — all of this doesn't fit the traditions of the Gothic series.
