Astro Robo Sasa is an arcade action platformer centered on collecting capsules marked with an “E.” The character has no ordinary means of movement: shots both serve as weapons and propel the character in the direction fired. Some capsules are suspended from balloons.

The supply of shots is limited. Colliding with enemies, the other player, or their bullets consumes ammunition, and the game ends when it runs out.
