The game got me hooked. It’s surprising that it’s not here on the site in the “games similar to Fallout” selection. Guys, this is Fallout 1-2 in the USSR setting with improved graphics. The game has its shortcomings; many blame it for its lack of authenticity and lame balance. I don’t know... This is fantasy, the reliability here is conditional, the main thing is that a person is immersed in the atmosphere of a post-apocalypse, and I think the developers succeeded. Combat, not x-com, of course, but this is not required here, the battles are quite on the level with the same Fallout or Vasteland 2. A controversial point for me is the use of avatars of famous personalities; I think we could have done without it. In general, I recommend you to play through it, don’t waste your money - buy it on Steam (I bought it) to support the developers, because... Part 2 is being prepared.

This is a super game, not even like that, SUPER!!! Anyone who has 1 or 2 fouls must play. At some points, ATOM RPG even surpasses them. Complete freedom, the style of play depends on the stats of your character, there cannot be two identical playthroughs, a large amount of black humor, Easter eggs, references to various books, games, crafting armor, weapons, cartridges, items, turn-based battles where you need to think with your head, a lot text, each character in the game has his own story, which he may or may not tell, depending on his stats. There hasn't been such a cool project for a long time. Respect to the developers and do not stop there.

I really liked the game: incredible plot, beautiful graphics.

I’ve been following the game from the very beginning, as soon as it started appearing online. I haven’t gotten such a thrill since Fallout 1 and 2; you can’t compare, of course, very different worlds. But these are just my subjective feelings. Thanks to the development team.

Cons

1 Poorly thought-out text garbage from a bunch of useless NPCs.

2 Unbalanced gameplay in a group. Help from allies is only for carrying belongings.

3 Boring quests with long and expensive treks back and forth.

4 A lot of time is spent on moving all the pieces on the battlefield.

5 Poor selection of trade.

And many more nasty things that I found..

Pros

1 Quite a large map. Each location has a story.

2 Lots of humor.

3 I gave up towards the end and don't regret it.

I've seen better games, like KGB agents dropped on a prisoner planet, or a guy whose car breaks down in the middle of the road in winter and he has to squirm around to avoid freezing or starving to death.

Relatively good quality, bought via steam (Steam). It's sad that the game is heading towards the end. I'm waiting for the second part, I hope the level of the game will rise - for the first part you can close your eyes to a lot, but in the second (if there is one) the demand from the developers will be completely different. From what is coming out now, it’s at least somewhat similar, although in some ways it’s still a long way from even dungeon orderlies. The combat component is meager, if you compare at least with the 7.62 series - it’s simply weak. The game is not bad but the plot is stuffy, especially in the final mission with a TON of text. The graphics are good for the year of release, the controls are great, the optimization is excellent and will work on any brick. It's worth checking out, unfortunately I can't recommend the second part either because it has, to put it mildly, slid down in terms of balance and has become a casual garbage dump that lags even taking into account that the graphics are worse than in the first part.
