BARRIER X is an arcade action game built around high-speed runs through levels filled with barriers and enemies. Players dodge obstacles, avoid red areas and shoot enemies while reacting to the action around them and keeping up with the increasing pace.
The game features seven endless levels, each with new elements; the next level unlocks after surviving for 30 seconds. Speed increases every 15 seconds, making each run progressively harder. Electronic music accompanies the flight, and leaderboards let players compare scores on each level.
