This 2D fighting game is set against a fantasy conflict between Light and Darkness. Battle Fantasia: Revised Edition features 12 playable characters and 24 scenarios, with each character’s story unfolding through successive fights and potentially taking an unexpected turn under certain conditions. Alternate costumes unlock as the story progresses.

Combat centers on the GACHI parry system, which enables counterattacks, and Heat-Up, which temporarily powers up a character. Alongside the story, players can practice, fight through Survival mode, compete in Time Attack, and view illustrations in the Gallery. Online play includes ranked and player matches, with private rooms available for invited opponents.
