Behold the Kickmen is a football simulation seen through the eyes of someone unfamiliar with the sport’s rules. The player starts at the bottom of the British football system and works through match after match, aiming to climb the table, become the best footballer and win the World Cup.
Matches involve kicking, passing and tackling, while squad management takes place outside them. Story mode adds melodramatic events and decisions. The game can also be reskinned as a dystopian bloodsport, and is single-player only.
