This adventure game follows Hikaru, an apprentice hairpin maker who runs away from home and finds herself in a mysterious night town. There, she encounters strange creatures and familiar people transformed beyond recognition while trying to escape the dangerous place.

Hikaru must survive among creatures whose intentions are not always clear. She uses Mr. Yulou to drive off enemies and keeps him from getting hungry; eating too many sweets or berries can also cause side effects.
