This cyberpunk visual-novel adventure is set in London in 2099, where climate change has brought permanent rain to much of the Earth. The protagonist, Luke Black, is a 36-year-old bioinformatics engineer and one of the lead programmers at Nanotech, a major nanotechnology research company. His life changes after he meets Tanya, whose motives are unclear.

In Bionic Heart, the story branches into different paths, and relationships between characters affect its outcome. Alongside classic visual-novel gameplay, the game features interactive scenes and a map system. Different choices lead to 24 possible endings.
