This third-person action adventure takes place on the tropical island of Mata Nui, where the evil Makuta has cast a spell of darkness. Players control the Toa, explore the island’s six regions and help rescue the scattered Matoran.
The adventure begins with a choice of one of six Toa. The heroes use elemental powers and fire blasts of elemental energy to fight Makuta’s minions, while also facing environmental hazards such as falling rocks, strong winds, icicles and lava falls. As the game progresses, players take on the roles of the Toa, the Toa Nuva and finally the 7th Toa.
