The Pilum is a Roman spear featuring a long iron shaft and a pyramidal head. It was primarily used for throwing at an enemy's shield, with the tip penetrating deeply to make the shield heavy and immobile, making it difficult to remove the iron shaft. In the game, you can also stab and slash with it.
