This tactical role-playing game set in the BLEACH universe tells an original story that takes place before the events of the anime. It focuses on the close bond between twin Soul Reapers Matsuri Kudo and her brother Fujimaru. Story mode offers a choice of two lead characters, with each choice providing a different gameplay experience.
Players assemble and command a team of eight Soul Reapers, position its members on the campaign map, and fight in turn-based battles. Experience points earned in battle can be used to develop the team’s abilities. More than 50 characters are available for battles, each with special attacks, and some can use Bankai. After completing Story mode, players can continue strengthening their team in BLEACH Tower, which has 30 levels. The game also includes a wireless multiplayer mode for two players.
