This is a LUA script that increases the game's frame rate by more than 20 FPS (may vary depending on specifications) by modifying various Unreal Engine 5 CVars using a tool called UE4SS.
How to run:
- download UE4SS (specifically, the UE4SS_vX.X.X.zip file, where X is the version) from the requirements list;
- extract the UE4SS archive to the Bodycam/Bodycam/Binaries/Win64 folder;
- extract the mod archive to the Bodycam/Bodycam/Binaries/Win64 folder;
- go to the Bodycam/Bodycam/Binaries/Win64/Mods folder and open the mods.txt file, add a new line after all other mods, before Keybinds : 1 and write FPSBooster : 1; this will make UE4SS load the LUA script, otherwise set it to 0 if you do not want the script to load;
- to toggle tweaks, press F5 on the keyboard. This will allow you to switch between settings before applying tweaks at the start of the game and settings from this mod.
